Awesome.
At first, we couldn’t find any period pictures of our 1962 Elva Mk Mk VI sports racer. Then we scored a big breakthrough, discovering the treasure trove held at the Revs Institute.
The Revs Institute is the ultimate outgrowth of the Miles Collier Collections: more than 100 of the most significant race cars built through 1995. It is one of the finest collections in the world, containing motorsports legends like the Ford GT40, Porsche 917K and Jaguar D-Type.
The Revs Institute has quietly been collecting photos, books and other racing paraphernalia. Their automotive library claims more than 24,000 books, 200,000 magazines and half a million images. They also collect documents, notes, auction catalogs, racing programs and sales literature.
The museum offers online access to many images, with subject matter identified by car, driver, event and the like. Images for personal use can be downloaded for less than 50 bucks.
Most of the period photos that we have been using in this series were procured from the Revs Institute. Here is a selection of pictures of our car, and her sister car, No. 73.

I spent another day grinding fiberglass and itching like crazy, so I am glad you are liking this series.
There are additional photos of that car at RacingSportsCars. They have some results for the car as well. Here are some of the better photos that they have. There are more but they're not great.
