The next step was to disassemble the subframes. We wanted to get all the black steel parts on the car powder coated, and most of these parts were located in or on the subrames.
Disassembly is quite straightforward, but the subframe assemblies of the Mini are probably the most complicated part of the car. Take your time, take lots of pictures and notes, and use a shop manual.
