Our Shelby got a healthy horsepower increase thanks to some tuning, and it now puts down 375 galloping mustangs.
We got a good reception at the barn-finds display at Charlotte's Spring Food Lion AutoFair.
After an appearance at the Mitty, the Shelby is currently resting before its next outing.
The weekend before the Mitty, our 1967 Shelby GT350 was shown at Charlotte’s Spring Food Lion AutoFair as part of a display on barn finds. We saw a lot of people, answered many questions, and had a great time.
The Shelby then visited Balanced Performance Motorsports for some more dyno work. This full-service facility is located just outside metro Atlanta, and their crew has hosted many of our magazine project cars. Sure, anyone can install a dyno, but it takes some knowledge to properly use it.
A bit of tweaking bumped our Shelby’s output up to 375 horsepower. After an appearance at the Mitty, the Shelby is resting before its next outing.
