The primered car is now getting smoothed out in preparation for paint.
We're using Rage, which was recommended by our favorite body shop.
The front corner only took a little bit of filler—this was one of our better-welded metal joints.
We’re moving into the next phase of the BMW 2002tii project: smoothing out the rough areas with Rage filler. This will take a while, as there are several spots that really need some work—the quarter panel where it was patched and the bottom of the tail panel. We should have this portion wrapped up by July, which is when we plan on taking the car to the paint shop.
