We don’t use our Porsche 911 as a daily driver, but it doesn’t just sit in the garage, either. A few short days after returning from the Amelia Island/Radwood weekend, the Porsche joined our Orange Blossom Tour.
Didn’t quite get to do the whole weeklong tour–desk duty always calls–but enough to enjoy some Florida sunshine with our guests. And they’re pleasant guests, too.
The base for this year’s Orange Blossom Tour: the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
Prep for the outing after a long weekend? Not much: Empty everything from Amelia, wipe down the paint with some Griot’s quick detailer, and then a stop at a local Sunoco. The end. Oh, and might as well the tire pressures, too.
The time on the Orange Blossom Tour? Chill and relaxing. Started the day at the host hotel in Daytona Beach and, after a stop at Daytona International Speedway, went as far north as Washington Oaks Garden State Park.
For many of us, the season is just getting started. What are you doing with your classic in the coming months?
