My first sports car was a 1968 Spit Mk.III that I bought at age 19 for $1300. Had to get my dad to co-sign the bank loan. It later became my race car in the SCCA FP class. Lots of wonderful memories. Still love the lines of the GT6, especially the 69/70 GT6+.

The 1970 GT6+ is one of the most under appreciated of all the British cars of that era. Designed by Giovanni Michelotti, it is flat-out beautiful from every angle. It's now beginning to ascend to its rightful place among collectors as values continue to rise. It had a great racing history and are now becoming quite rare.
