1966 Lotus Elan S2 (Series 2) that have had since 1975. Did a more or less total re-build circa 1980, and then “just drove it” as my daily driver for many years, plus of course the occasional auto-cross or club track day. Accumulated about 250k miles over those years. Learned that the driveshaft u-joint bearings are only good for about 160k miles. Today she is the occasional driver to the local coffee place or whatever around the community. There’s also a good story about the time I got rear-ended by an 18-wheeler.
