Toyota Stout 1900 truck

Heres a pic of the newest addition to the eclectic collection… 1966 toyota stout pick up, a fairly good driver as is. but plans for a canvas topper {tilt} and different wheels and taller tires are already running through my brain.

In one of the old Russ Meyer exploitation flicks--I believe it was Motorpsycho--Meyer appears to have made a deal with the nascent Toyota USA, and a lot of the characters drive around in early Toyotas. If my memory serves, I'm pretty sure a truck like yours had a "starring" role, as well as a lot of early FJs.

I would add a full tilt and not change anything else! Beautiful truck!

Very cool. I drove a 1965 Datsun pickup through the '70s and into the '80s. It looked like a '50s Austin inside and out. I wish I still had it sometimes.
