Fiat 500L

11

This is my 1971 Fiat 500L. It is currently stripped and sandblasted. It will be rebuilt as an Abarth 595 SS. I love this car and hope to race it in the near future.

Two questions... how long can you go without hearing the word "cute", and what's that in the background? First thought was Sprite, but I'm not sure.

For the first question, not long at all. But there is a good side to it. If you look at my profile, you can see that I am not an attractive man but when I am in this car, I can get the prettiest of women to approach me and tell me how cute it is. So it has it's pluses. As for the second, you are right. It was a 1965 Sprite. I now only have the hardtop that was on it. The only British cars I have now are four Morris Minors that are so neglected, it would be considered abuse. I will be sure to post those so that I can the the flaming started.

Cars don't come any charming and full of personality than this.. So cute and lovable, this was one of the cars that put much of Italy and EU back on the roads post WW-II. One of the most significant mass production car designs from that time along with the Mini.
