A 1965 Austin Cooper S, LHD and raced since almost new! The BMIHT certificate lists this car as built on April 8th, 1965, and dispatched to the dealer in Portland,OR on April 25th. The color it left the factory with was Black over Old English White. The original owner was Gordon “Red” Schimberg, of Ashland, OR. Red raced the car extensivley, and qualified to race in the 1966 ARRC at Riverside, the 1967 ARRC at Daytona, and the 1968 ARRC at Riverside. The car also raced at Cotati, Pacific Raceways, Sears Point, Newport, Shelton, PIR (West Delta Park), and many other tracks between 1965 and 1970. The car is now raced in Vintage in Eastern Canada and the US.
