Before starting GRM, Publisher Tim Suddard owned a Shelby GT350H–back when you could find one of these Hertz rent-a-racers for relatively little money.

Today, well, things have changed, but Tim recently checked out a GT350H whose owner didn’t let it go too early. Presented by CRC Industries.

More states should do the stacked letters on their license plates.

I always feel like people overlook the license plate when it comes to customizing a car. It doesn't have to be a vanity plate, but I always appreciate the way a specialty plate can stand out in traffic.

Legend is that certain enterprising types rented these, swapped in basic car 289s, then returned them to Hertz as slower vehicles.  Seems like a lot of work for 80 horsepower or so . . .

80hp was a much larger percentage bump than it is now.
