Parking lots are the perfect venue for events like autocross, but for world-class Formula 1 racing? Not as much.
That didn’t stop the organizers behind the Miami Grand Prix, who managed to transform the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens–and its surrounding parking lots–into a proper FIA Grade 1 circuit.
Here’s how they did it–and in just 12 months’ time.

I just know the organizers cried themselves to sleep every night. The amount of moving parts for something like that would be astronomical.
