The grass may only seem greener on the other side of the fence, but when it comes to the GR Yaris—sold nearly everywhere but North America—we think it actually is.
Thankfully, a Gazoo Racing version of the Corolla hatch looks to be in the works, and it's destined for our shores. In the meantime, though, we'll be watching this video on repeat and thinking about what might have been.

Neat car but that camera work makes it unwatchable.
They are clearly using a steady cam mount but are intentionally moving the car in and out of frame. I realize this is to give a sense of speed and exhilaration but it comes off like bad crash zooms on a persons first youtube video

I thought this car was in the $40-$45,000 range. Did I read that wrong? Awesome car but how much if they did send it?

Fine, fun cars under 3000lb are slim. Fun cars over 3000lb aren't really fun, they're merely using forward thrust to compensate.
