There's something fascinating about watching archival footage, even if it's about a mundane activity like driving down the street.
Of course, this is no ordinary street, but it's still a unique view into what Los Angeles looked like in the mid-'60s.
What would be your car of choice for cruising through '60s L.A.?

I love the ending. The driver of the camera car runs the red at what appears to be the intersection with West Doheny, then seems to challenge the driver of the '61 Chevy, who clearly had the right of way.
Anyway, I'd like to have been cruising Sunset Blvd. in any one of these in the mid-sixties (or even today for that matter).

It looks like the video was taken later than 1964, as the red station wagon that the camera follows early in the video is a 1955 Chevrolet Nomad.
