Absolutely Classic: Two Stripes That Say a Lot

Sometimes a simple design can make an enormous impact. For a great example, recall the graphics package that Peter Brock created for his BRE Datsuns. Each car wore a pair of side stripes, and 40 years later, countless Datsuns can be found similarly decorated.
North Carolina’s Mark Vogel brought one such Datsun 510 to the 2010 Speedfest at the Classic Motorsports Mitty. The colors don’t come from the official BRE palette, but the influence is impossible to miss. By the way, what’s the correct angle for the stripes? According to Peter Brock himself, they should mirror the angle of the windshield.
