Still quivering over the Autozam.
As the name suggests, the Little Car Show is all about little cars. Technically it’s for cars up to 1601cc of engine displacement–plus all electric cars–but in the end it’s all about fun.
This free show, which annually takes place in downtown Pacific Grove, California, welcomes cars of all vintages, too, from ’80s and ’90s Japanese classics like the Autozam AZ-1 to a perfect 1984 Honda CRX. And then there were the classic Minis.
This year’s show took place on Wednesday, August 16. It is presented by Marina Motorsports and it certainly different from anything else you will see during Monterey Car Week.

Turns out the Autozam is a Mazda, sold under another name. I ran into my buddy, Jeremy Barnes, who is head of PR for Mazda and he told me that.
I actually learned from of all places playing GT6 about the Autozam being a Mazda.
I saw a chasing classic cars episode a while back that had Wayne visiting that show. It looks like a great time.
Minis, Beetles and rear engined Fiats featured well but the less obvious models stood out. An early 60’s Lancia Appia Sport and an odd custom Honda Civic made from two front halves didn’t disappoint.
