Born from BMW innovation, a rare version of an already rare car: the Alpina Roadster Limited Edition.
The Roadster’s muse? The BMW Z1, but with an Alpina twist.
Each of the 66 Roadster Limited Editions–this one being number 29–received a 200cc displacement increase, Mahle cast pistons, revised camshafts and a special Alpina machined cylinder head.
The result? 200 horsepower and nearly 200 lb.-ft. of torque.
This example, finished in striking Top Red with a Dark Grey Nubuck and camouflage interior, sports less than 30,000 kilometers and even comes with its original Alpina handbooks.
Find this exceptional 1991 Alpina Roadster Limited Edition for auction by Broad Arrow on May 24 with an estimated value ranging from $137,000 to $171,000.
