Although production of the original 427 Cobra ended in the mid-to-late ‘60s, that didn’t stop Shelby American from building later.
In the early 2000s, Carroll Shelby authorized 40 CSX4000 Cobras to be built to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the very first Cobra–and this Cobra 427 is one of them.
Features exclusive to the 40th Anniversary model include "Anniversary Blue" paint, ceramic-coated side pipes, leather seats, commemorative gauges and much more.
