Legolas from The Lord of the Rings. Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean. This 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8. The common thread? Actor Orlando Bloom.
Bloom is offering this car directly from his collection. The previous owner was “a notable British musician.”
The Aston Martin retains its matching-numbers 5.4-liter V8, rated for 314 horses. It is one of 402 DBS V8 examples made between 1969 and 1972, and at the time was the fastest production car with four seats.
Find this 1971 Aston Martin DBS V8 for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of £90,000-£120,000 (approximately $120,000-$165,000 USD).
