A 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300SL roadster is a highly sought-after car. What makes one even more desirable? How about an all-original example that’s in decent shape.
Unrestored, and with matching numbers, this 300SL was only owned by one family. The man who bought it drove it until his death in 1994, and the vehicle was even mentioned in his obituary.
The odometer shows 76,659 miles. The seller says it’s in “amazing condition with a very straight body and a finish that remains glossy.” They add “the engine starts easily and settles to a smooth idle, and the gearbox engages easily with smooth shifting and pleasant action.”
