Want a Volvo that’s a real head-turner? This 1962 Volvo P1800 might be it. It’s won awards at the 2022 Boca Raton Concours d’Elegance and the 2023 Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance.
This is an early, hand-built P1800 constructed by Jensen Motors in the U.K. The Jensen-built examples have unique features, such as Robergel wire wheels, bullhorn front bumper, egg-crate grille, cowl vent, and C-pillar Volvo script.
The Volvo P1800 underwent an extensive restoration by marque specialist Vintage Metal Services in 2020 after being bought from the original owner’s brother. It was restored with the factory-delivered colors of Dark Metallic Grey over a Red interior.
