You never know where you might discover a rare car for sale, as is the case with this Facebook Marketplace find. It’s purported to be the only Mulliner-bodied Aston Martin DB2/4 with a sliding roof.
The Aston Martin appears to have had its paint removed within the past year in favor of a stainless steel look. The DB2/4 came originally in Sea Green over Beige Connolly. It retains its matching-numbers engine. Andre Pelgrims, whose residence is now the Maison Pelgrims art gallery in Belgium, first owned the car.
After a bit of cyber-sleuthing, thanks to Classic.com, the DB2/4 was last sold in 2024, via DriverSource, listed with an asking price of $189,500. It also appeared on Bring a Trailer in 2024, when it failed to sell for $147,000. Prior to that, it hit the block during 2023 Monterey Car Week at Broad Arrow Auctions, where it failed to gavel. The listing price now? $235,000.
