It’s hard to forget this Ferrari F40, dubbed the “Blue Chip F40.” Clad in its distinctive Azzurro Hyperion over blue Alcantara trim, it makes an impression that one won’t forget.
Yes, we’ve featured the Blue Chip F40 before as a car for sale in February. Apparently, it’s still available, with the Ferrari now being offered for auction by RM Sotheby’s. The auction house estimates its value at $2.5 to $2.8 million. That’s in between a No. 2 and a No. 3 example per Hagerty, at $2.4 million to $3.1 million. However, that doesn’t take into account the unconventional color this F40 wears.
In case you were wondering, this F40 came from the factory in Rosso Corsa over Stoffa Vigogna. It’s passed through the hands of several owners, including British TV presenter Paul Martin, who’s hosted several antique programs on BBC.
Find this 1992 Ferrari F40 for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $2,500,000-$2,800,000.
