The name “Costin-Nathan” might not ring a bell, but that doesn’t mean this rare sports racer should be overlooked.

Constructed using a fiberglass body fitted over a wooden monocoque, the Costin-Nathan GT features a 998cc Hillman Imp engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. This powertrain is billed as producing over 100 horsepower and capable of giving the GT a top speed of 167 mph.

Of particular note, this example is billed as the first production model built and, most recently, underwent a “painstaking three-year restoration” in the early 2020s. Marque expert Guy Sheppard, of Rawlson Racing, completed the restoration, which was overseen by Roger Nathan, the car’s designer and creator.

Find this 1967 Costin-Nathan GT for auction from H&H Classics with an estimated value of £190,000-£210,000, or approximately $245,900-$271,800.
