It’s not every day a Porsche 962 goes up for sale–let alone the last 962 run by Bob Akin in IMSA, and one driven by the likes of Hurley Haywood, Vern Shuppan and James Weaver.
Finished in the correct Akin Coca-Cola Yokohama/Paradyne livery, the Porsche received a new, dyno-tested engine in the early 2000s.
The seller also notes that the 962 is offered with current FIA papers as well as recent crack tests.
