There’s period race history, and then there’s competing in the Targa Florio–one of the most grueling races in history–multiple times like this 1966 Abarth 1000SP.
Before undergoing a “world-class concours-quality restoration” in the early 2000s, the 1000SP resided in the collection of renowned Porsche enthusiast Frank Gallogly.
More recently, the Abarth has lived in a private collection, occasionally being shown at events at Meadow Brook and Amelia Island.
