Saw it the first time it ran at Daytona with Sarel van der Merwe. For me that race put Sarel on the map in the US. Such a great looking and performing car. From then to today I've had a Kreepy Krauly pool sweep going in my pool!

Of all of the cars from IMSA GTP’s golden era, here’s one that stood out just a bit from the pack. Maybe credit the fact that it was sponsored by a swimming pool cleaner with a funny name. The Kreepy Krauly March Porsche 84G is on the market.
Between 1984 and 1986, this car competed at some of the most iconic tracks in the world including Le Mans, the Nürburgring, Daytona, Spa, Monza and Mount Fuji–yet that’s just a part of the 84G’s history.
After retiring from pro racing in 1986, the Porsche would go on to compete in various historic racing events such as the 2018 Rennsport Reunion and the Rolex 24 at Daytona heritage exhibitions in 2019 and 2020.
According to the seller, the car received nearly $85,000 in race preparations from the 901 Shop in 2019, plus an additional $20,000 or so from Amalfi Racing. As well, the March comes with a recently renewed FIA Historic Technical passport that’s good until 2025.
Find this 1984 March Porsche 84G for sale via Elferspot for $450,000.
