Copley Motorcars bills this as the most successful Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Why? Well, the Ferrari won its class in the 1969 24 Hours of Daytona, with drivers Sam Posey and Ricardo Rodriguez-Cazados.
It also attempted the 1968 24 Hours of Le Mans, but never passed initial scrutineering due to illegal wheels. This was also the Le Mans that Scuderia Ferrari boycotted, further complicating matters.
This Ferrari started as one of just 16 alloy-bodied 275 GTB/4s. It retains its matching-numbers engine and gearbox, and was cosmetically refreshed just last year.
