No, it’s not the 1979 Kremer Porsche 935 K3 that finished first overall in the 1979 Le Mans 24 thanks to Klaus Ludwig and the Whittington brothers. It’s billed as a tribute based on a 1976 Porsche 911 chassis.

Power for this one comes from a 3.6-liter engine from a 964-series 911, while the body is billed as a replica of the K3 Kremer. This 911 has track-ready safety gear including full roll cage, ATL fuel cell and Sparco harnesses yet also features required road equipment like lights, horn and DOT-approved tires. The suspension is billed as “road-friendly.”

A real Porsche 935 is worth millions. Gooding & Company has sold two since 2016: $4.8 million for one and $1.9 million for another.

The buy it now price for this one is $149,900.

It would make me so happy to pick up my kids in this. If you had money to play with this would be a really fun possession.
