Okay, so this Ford Mustang wasn't raced by that caped crusader, but it was driven by someone wishing to keep their true identity a secret–just like a superhero.
This is one of two Mustangs built by Holman-Moody in 1967 and purportedly raced by Christobal “Batman” Galjuf to several victories in Peru, Mexico, and Argentina. (Galjuf is said to have used the Batman pseudonym to ensure his father didn't learn about his racing exploits.)
Special features on this Mustang include an acid-dipped body, Holman-Moody Talladega Super Speedway front suspension, 3.5-inch-wide drum brakes and Trans-Am rear suspension.
Find this 1967 Ford Mustang Holman-Moody Racer for auction by Mecum on January 18.
