What exactly is an Etceterini? It’s one of a number of sports cars–mostly based on Fiats–that were built by motorsport-loving Italians. This 1938 Ogna Fiat 750 Giannini is a great example of an Etceterini.
Domenico Ogna built this barchetta around 1946. He used a 1938 Fiat Topolino as its base and affixed custom body work. It featured several body designs over the years. This car sports its last body built in 1954, which resembles a Ferrari 166 MM.
Owner-driver Ogna raced this car in five Mille Miglias–1948, 1949, 1950, 1952, 1954. His best class finish came in ’48, when he placed eighth, and 61st overall in the event.
Find this 1938 Ogna Fiat 750 Giannini up for auction at Finarte, with an estimated winning bid of €300,000-€350,000 (approximately $321,690-$375,305).
