While any Lister is worth celebrating, this one very well could be the most significant on the market.
Billed as one of the most original examples in existence, this Maserati-powered Lister was first driven by Archie Scott-Brown to four overall race wins and numerous class wins in 1956.
The Lister continued to race under multiple banners before retiring after a few more seasons, where it spent time in various collections well into the 2010s.
In 2017, an amateur racer acquired the car (for a sum of nearly $2 million), which was then used to compete in the Goodwood Revival, Le Mans Classic and Monaco Historic–the last of which saw the Lister secure a 2nd overall finish.
Today, the Lister features a Crosthwaite & Gardiner engine, though the original Maserati powerplant is retained.
