Really like the idea of a Fiat 124 Spider but don’t like front-engine cars? How about a Fiat 850 Spider?
Powered by a 903cc, rear-mounted inline-four, this 1970 Fiat Spider is the result of a two-year rotisserie restoration. During that time, the engine and transmission were rebuilt and the car was resprayed in Galvanic Gold Metallic, a shade borrowed from BMW.
In addition, the 850 is billed as retaining its numbers-matching engine and transmission.

Always liked these little cuties... Think they were probably $2500 new... Started my first real job in Apr of 70, considered these but finally got a new 71 pinto... Sold the 69 sprite I had for a few months.. But didn't have the pinto long and got a 70 mgb in 71... My cousin who I would borrow their 67 1800 s convertible from advised against the 850... I still love the styling... Wish I had their 1800s convertible... Long gone off to the crusher in the sky
