One of the fastest cars of its time–in both supercharged and naturally aspirated form–the Bentley 4½ Litre set several land speed records and secured a 24 Hours of Le Mans win.
As for this Bentley, it’s a rebuild of an original 4½ Litre and is now powered by a 4.9-liter Bentley “B61” inline-six engine. (The rebuild is noted by the seller to have been completed in 1952 by an unnamed specialist.)
The Bentley has also been fitted with a few quality-of-life upgrades that include a heater, electric fan and electric ignition.
