Record-setting Ford Mustang Cobra Jet built by Holman-Moody

Back in the ’60s, Holman-Moody creations weren’t limited to NASCAR and Le Mans. They built several important drag cars, too, like this 1968 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Fastback.

This Mustang Cobra Jet is one of only 11 built at the legendary Holman & Moody-Stroppe California shop. This Mustang had been converted from a 390 model to a 428 CI Cobra Jet specs.

This Cobra Jet is also a proven champion: 1968 National Record holder and the 1968 U.S. Nationals winner. The Mustang sports a white exterior with Jerry Harvey & Paul Harvey Ford graphics.
