Achingly beautiful, I'd rather have this over widebody Cobra any day

Looking for something a little less uncommon than a Shelby Cobra? Why not an AC Ace?
This example from 1957 is noted as having been upgraded to full Bristol specification, including the “correct type 100D2 engine.”
The Ace is also noted to have spent its whole life in California, and even won class awards at Pebble Beach in 1969 and 1970.
Find this 1957 AC Ace for sale from Gullwing Motorcars for $295,000.
In 1960 my buddy Max bought a new AC-Bristol direct from the factory. It was a very pretty car (white w/blue stripes), and a LOT quicker than my 1500cc MG-A. I can recall running wfo (~ 95 mph) and, as Max easily passed me, he shifted into top gear. He sold it several years later for considerably less than $295K!
