Built as a limited-edition version of the Mustang, the GT/CS “California Special” added various features to the pedestrian Mustang like hood pins, a deck lid spoiler, sequential taillights and exclusive "GT/CS" side graphics.
This example from 1968 is powered by a small-block 289 V8 backed by a three-speed “Cruise-O-Matic” automatic transmission. (The GT/CS ould be configured with virtually any engine offered for the Mustang, though.)
Showing 31,223 miles, the Mustang comes equipped with air conditioning, power disc brakes and power steering. The seller also notes that the Mustang is believed to have had a ground-up restoration “per the previous owner.”
