When you purchase a car, how long do you expect it to stay in the family? Well, for Mr. Russ Collins of Green Bay, Wisconsin, the Porsche 356A that he bought on a visit to Germany in 1961 is still in the care of his family more than 60 years later.

The seller notes that the Porsche is a factory sunroof car and features a number of original components. The wheels wear date marks from 1960, while the listing notes that the hood and engine lid also bear the correct stamps. Also mentioned: “Even the distinctive 356 ‘smile line’ on the hood is beautifully delineated across the uninterrupted fascia of the car.”

The most recent service on the car happened in 2018 and comprised of an oil change, flywheel replacement, clutch disc replacement and an upgrade to a 12-volt electrical system.

I was under the impression that all 356A's had 4 round tailights. Is this not true as this one sports long elipticle taillights?
