Sporty & economical? | 1980 Plymouth Horizon TC3 for sale

When Lee Iacocca brought the Horizon to the U.S. from Europe, it ignited a front-wheel-drive, subcompact trend in the automotive industry. While base models served mostly utilitarian purposes, the TC3 trim turned the Plymouth Horizon into a sporty, yet economical car.

The car uses a carbureted, 1.7-liter 4-cylinder borrowed from the Horizon’s European counterpart. A 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission delivers the power.

The TC3 has an independent front suspension, with McPherson struts, and in the back more struts paired with coil springs. Stopping power comes from front disc brakes and rear drums.

This white exterior/Deep Oxblood interior example has only 25,236 actual miles. The seller adds it only has some patina and surface rust on the undercarriage.
