The Porsche 962 became legendary after six straight 24 Hours of Le Mans wins and domination of WEC during the 1980s. This example here is the final chassis that Porsche built of the iconic race car.
Brun Motorsport campaigned the car in-period, finishing 10th overall in the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans. It later raced the Nürburgring 430km and Mexico 430km.
Joest Racing rebuilt the car in 1994, returning its livery to what was raced at Nürburgring.
Find this 1991 Porsche 962 C up for auction at RM Sotheby’s, with an estimated value of $1,300,000-$1,650,000.
