That’s right, in 2009 Morgan came out with a GT3 version of its Aero SuperSport to celebrate the marque’s 100-year anniversary. The French team AutoGT Racing campaigned it in the FIA European GT3 Championship.
How did it do? It won in its debut at Silverstone, beating Aston Martins, Ferraris and Audis.
The current owner of this example acquired it directly from Morgan in 2015. They then had Foxcraft Racing refresh the car and prepare it for on-track exploits. It’s been regularly seen in Peter Auto’s Endurance Racing Legends.
