Subaru used this car to debut the Subaru Impreza 22B STi at the 1997 Toyko Auto Show. It’s a highly original example, too, with only 74 kilometers (around 46 miles) on its odometer.

The 22B STi was created to celebrate Subaru’s 40th-year anniversary and third consecutive manufacturer’s title in the World Rally Championship. It had a bigger, more powerful engine than the standard Impreza, unique body panels, a Bilstein suspension and many other modifications. The 22B even came with its own shade of blue.

Before being acquired by the current seller, this car was owned by Subaru of Japan, Prodrive of England and even a long-term 20-year private collector in Japan.
