Is calling a car King of the Road a bold move? Perhaps, but the Shelby GT500 KR backs up the name with a beefy powerplant: a 428-cubic-inch Cobra Jet V8.
This 1968 example backs that engine with a four-speed manual, plus comes factory-fitted with power steering, power front disc brakes and a Traction-Lok rear axle.
The GT500 comes finished in Lime Gold over a Saddle interior, which is believed to be one of only 101 examples configured this way.
