Sure, you’ve likely seen a few classic cars well-suited for cross-country travel, but how well do they compare to a Greyhound bus?

According to the seller, roughly 600 examples of the “Silverside” GMC Yellow Coach were produced between 1940 and ’41. This example is believed to be one of just three restored to this condition.

Unlike most older buses, which are converted into motor homes, this one is still configured to be used as a bus–all you need are the seats.

Restoration of this Silverside is noted to have taken some 5 years, with work including an overhaul of the six-cylinder diesel engine.
