In reply to dyintorace:These are very strange tires. I have another set of Z214's that say Z214 on the side, these say nothing. The other set has 2 tread groves around the tire, these are true slicks. The other set has a date stamp of 3405, these have no stamp. research showed that all DOT tires have a date stamp after 2000. Where these made before 2000 or are they true race tires? They are hard, something like Fred Flintstone used. C51 and C71 are the only compounds I see listed anymore.

Gundy - I don't have any info other than what I got from the previous owner. I never even put the wheels/tires on my Miata. They've been sitting in my dad's garage since I purchased them. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.
