For Sale: Two 17" x 7" OEM alloy wheels from 2006 Acura RSX Type-S
45mm offset, 5 x 114.3 lugs, approx 20lbs/ea. Five-spoke OEM style. Light pothole damage, asking $20 for both, pickup near Asheville, NC or negotiate S&H.
I nailed a pothole and dented the front and rear wheels on the right side of my car. These wheels have minor rim damage. Haven't actually measured but it was noticed while trying to balance them; it looked to be <= 0.150" of run out. It wasn't really noticeable on the car, just felt like a lightly out-of-balance condition.
Why would you want damaged wheels?
-
"Rollers" to move your car around the shop, or to temporarily install while getting tires mounted on your daily wheels.
-
"Rollers" to get your race car from the trailer to the pits on junk tires. (Surely you know better than to drag your race rubber through all that garbage strewn around outside the track, right?!)
-
They might be worth more than $20 as 40 lbs of scrap Al.
-
You have an RSX wheel damaged much worse and can't swing the $570 (!!) Acura wants for new one.
-
You run one of those shops that claims to fix wheels, and would like them as cores.
I would really prefer not to screw with S&H. I had identical wheels in pristine condition that I sold and the UPS shipping was about $24/ea, plug an expensive box & pack fee. Punch zip 28760 into your favorite mapper to see where you can pick 'em up.
