Dammit, why does it have to be so close. Its a good candidate for my usual VW tranxaxle/Subie motor swap...oh not my "usual" since I've only done it once but a 2nd one would be fun.
resisting urge to go see it....
I know of a 2.0 914 set up cheap .....

I may be interested once I find out more about this lovely heap. French is about the only nationality I haven't owned yet, time to cross the barrier
I know a fuel injected Alliance engine will swap in.
How I know, don't ask.

Looks like alot of spares to go with it.

Dude, if you pick that thing up, I gotta stop by and check it out!
Oh thank god that isn't near me. Why do I like odd cars so mucH?
A high school buddy of mine had a Dauphine back in the 60s. He got killed in an automobile accident along with two other friends at a notorius intersection between Orangeburg and the beach. I'm not sure if he was driving the Dauphine on that day.

Barring any unforseen circumstance and assuming a little flexibility on the part of the seller it will be mine soon.....I've done darn near everything else, but never French, need to check that one off the bucketlist.
I may, shocking as it seems, just keep the little bugger stock.
I had a 1966 once, white with a red leather interior. Funny car, automatic, needs hp.
