1969 Firebird, $1900 in CT

1969 Pontiac Firebird Project or parts car. Car has been sitting for many years and I'm jsut not going to get aroufn to restoring it. Car had a new crate Chevy 350 installed anwith new 350 trans and about 10 years ago. Car was driven a few years then its been sitting ever since. Has headers,Flowmaster exaust, Weinad aluminum intake holly 4bbl HEI. Engien runs but has been sittign with old gas so I'm sure its in need of a carb rebuild, plugs wires ect to get running smoothly. Seats, door panels and dash are in great shape with no rips or tears. needs new headliner and carpeting. Body is rusted up in all the normal places (rockers, fenders, floors, trunk, rad support ect.and needs repairs but all the parts are available after market and their pretty reasonable compared to Ford and Mopar stuff. Aluminum rims and BFG tires inlcuded. Also have a set of brand new rear leaf springs and install hardware that can come with the car as well as some new shocks. Any way its a project car that needs work to be a driver but if you've got the time here it it. Asking $1900 but you really need to come look and make me an offer, its worth whatever someones willing to pay but theres not that many of these left around.

Good thing it's not near me, A first gen is the only F-body I haven't had yet. I like the '68 better though. Would so Challenge that thing!

I would have bought the E36 M3 out of that and put the drivetrain it had straight in the trash......and then started looking for a poncho 400/4sp combo.

Damn I thought it would take a little longer than 4 hours having all the usual F body rust problems and missing the Pontiac engine.

That's a huge hole waiting for money to get thrown in...
