I've been looking for a RWD wagon but old German cars kind of scare me.

I text them to see if it is a auto or 5 speed, I defiantly want it, not sure if I want to take a bus to get it.
^^^^ the guy with the fox body is an AHOLE. he wants to trade only- not even for a shoebox of cash- van in background has been for trade only forever....hope its none of you guys..if so disregard previous statement and carry on.
It looks like the self-leveling is dead on that E34. Mine is the same way. It was "OK" for a while until both rear shocks stopped working simultaneously. Boing boing boing SLAM boing. I don't quite understand how the two systems are related but they appear to be.
I'm gonna dump it (rust, tree limb fell on it, etc etc) and get a Volvo Wagon.
In reply to The_Jed: As an owner of an E34 525, I can tell you that they are totally DIYable. And parts prices are reasonable through multiple online sources. I would own another, however I would also shop carefully....maintenance maybe DIYable, but there are a lot of things that need to be maintained, its not an appliance.
That being said, an $800 E34 wagon would already be sold around here unless its was a rust bucket.
