I am interested but I don't think I can come up with the money right now. Interested in any trades? Good luck
nope but i still owe you some glass. i ended up trading that lemans for a truck and a little cash. a coworker of a friend of a friend fell in love with it and his nephew is a body man. i rigged a throttle cable up, they tuned it up and got it running smooth, and they're going to restore it. all he wanted was a running A body with a solid frame and floor.
i'll put it this way. if i do not sell the t56 my feelings won't be hurt. i actually might not need to sell anything shortly, i've supposedly got a guy coming to buy a big block from me. so it's a matter of whatever goes first then the rest is safe.

You know I forgot that I had swiped the throttle cable off of that car. It ended up on my $2010 challenge car. I am still going to try to find a way to get the money for that trans. I need one for the LT1 I am putting into my 77 Vette.
do you put any trade value on the caged monte or is that a keeper? out of your pile of stuff in the yard that's what piques my interest the most.
In reply to patgizz:
I would put that trade value at $450 that is what I paid for it. I do have the doors, fiberglass front bumper, and grill to go with the shell. Interested in a partial trade?
very possible, could be a decent start to something fun
IIRC it's a frame, cage, and body shell that doesnt roll?
any fenders or hood? title?
In reply to patgizz:
There is no hood, fenders, or suspension. I do have a title that was signed but not notarized. The car is a 72.
oh well, i don't need to sleep on it. i tried to find fenders, hood, etc... and that would be near impossible or extremely expensive without a complete donor car.
too bad body parts aren't everywhere and cheap like chevelle parts.
In reply to patgizz:
I understand, I never had much luck finding cheap parts for it either. Any A body can provide the suspension but the sheet metal parts are very hard to find used.
indeed, the suspension stuff is cheap to free and everywhere, the front sheetmetal looks to be a bear to find. even the "race weight" crap fiberglass fenders from us body are close to $900 for the pair.
i was almost tempted to ask about the blue Z car that used to belong to andy but didnt figure you would want to part ways with it. i'm kinda sorta hunting for a $2013 car while trying to maintain my sanity and keep my trucks running for work.
Hey Pat, I have a friend who might be interested in this. (non-forum member)
Still trying to find a home for this stuff?
